A turquoise melts into azure
Crimson where the sun kisses the shore
At the heart of the entire Earth
The place where all beauty is birthed
Chasms reach into the depths
Hopes and love come here at death
To a world made of lost dreams
At the bottom of this ravine

The rest of the world is a dark gray
Barren from pollution and war
With a little of his own hopes and dreams
And some paint a boy colored the land once more

But then came a man in a gray suit
He snatched the boy's paint like a brute
With gray hair and a gray mustache
He wanted the world the color of ash
The paint and brush vanished in thin air
The boy was filled with anguish and despair
There would not be a colorful soul
Only the color of charcoal

So he decided to rebel against the man
And said we live in melancholy and fear
So the man took the boy by the hand
And locked him away for years and years
